Strong sales of Roomba robotic vacuums helped iRobot clean up in the fourth quarter. The Bedford, Mass.-based company reported late Wednesday that its Q4 sales rose 25% year over year to $126.3 million. IRobot earned 11 cents a share, up from a loss of 21 cents in the year-earlier period. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected iRobot to earn 10 cents a share on sales of $125.5 million in the quarter ended Dec. 28. Home robots, including the Roomba, Scooba floor-washing robot and Mirra pool-cleaning robot, powered iRobot ‘s (IRBT) results. Revenue from home robots rose nearly 31% to $108.3 million in Q4 and accounted for 86% of total sales.
