Intel sees its future in sensors, drones, wearables

LAS VEGAS — Intel (INTC) CEO Brian Krzanich kicked off the official start of the massive CES trade show with a keynote presentation that barely mentioned the company’s bread-and-butter business, making chips for PCs. Instead, Krzanich devoted his Tuesday night address to Intel’s chips for products such as drones, wearable sports and fitness devices, and robots.
