Intel (INTC) was upgraded Monday by an analyst who said the “worst of the PC downturn” is ending and that virtual reality could recharge PC sales as soon as 2017. Intel is the No. 1 chipmaker by virtue of its long-held dominance as the top maker of PC microprocessors.
