Intel (INTC) announced Thursday that company President Renee James will step down in January after 28 years at the No. 1 chipmaker in order to pursue a CEO post. The announcement came along with several other management changes. James, long one of the highest-ranking women in the chip industry, shared a message with Intel employees noting that one of the recent achievements of which she is most proud is progress made on Intel’s diversity and Scalper1 News
