Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) now says two is better than one, announcing early Monday — after reports surfaced this weekend — that it will split into two companies by the end of its fiscal 2015, which ends on or near Oct. 31, 2015. One company, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, will manage the company’s storage, networking, converged systems, services and software and Helion OpenStack cloud platform.
