Hewlett-Packard’s (HPQ) initial foray into 3D printing likely won’t amount to much of a panacea for the troubled company anytime soon, one analyst says. The computer products company on Wednesday announced the development of Multi Jet Fusion, a new 3D printing technology that will compete with 3D printer makers including Stratasys (SSYS) and 3D Systems (DDD).
