Verizon Communications’ (VZ) “FreeBee” sponsored data service will likely get a green light from the Federal Communications Commission, as more companies test the agency’s “net neutrality” rules, says a Guggenheim Securities analyst. Under the FreeBee model, companies would pay Verizon a fee so that users of their wireless apps could access Web content without their data consumption counting toward monthly limits.
