Household Computer Use Near 84%, Internet At 76.7%

The latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau say that 83.8% of households have a computer, up from 76.7% in 2010. Of those, 74.5%have an Internet connection, with the most common connection device being a cable modem at 42.8%, followed by mobile broadband. About one-quarter of all households had no Internet connection, based on data collected in 2013 and recently released by the Census Bureau.
