Oil drilling companies have been market leaders for months. High oil prices combined with new drilling technology have made investors in the best companies a tidy profit. But Thursday was a bad day. Several of the leading drillers, including Devon Energy (DVN), EOG (EOG) and Continental Resources (CLR) broke below support at their 50-day moving averages.
