Hewlett-Packard Plans To Cut Up To 30,000 Jobs

Hewlett-Packard’s (HPQ) enterprise unit will cut 25,000 to 30,000 jobs from its work force as part of the restructuring as it separates from HP’s consumer operations, company officials said Tuesday. HP made the announcement at a meeting with analysts and later disclosed the plan publicly in a press release. The tech giant now has 302,000 employees worldwide across all its operations, and would end up with as few as 272,000 as a result of the Scalper1 News
