Harman Said Capitalizing On Connected Car, Q4 Beats

Harman International Industries (HAR), a top maker of automotive infotainment systems, on Tuesday raced past Wall Street’s estimates for June-quarter sales and earnings. The Stamford, Conn.-based company earned $1.37 a share minus items, up 10% year over year, on sales of $1.68 billion, up 16%, for its fiscal fourth quarter ended June 30. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected Harman to earn $1.32 a share on sales of $1.56 billion. Excluding Scalper1 News
