GoPro mum on new cameras; SNL suggests a colonoscopy cam

GoPro executives have been tight-lipped about the possibility of making new types of cameras. During a conference call with analysts on Oct. 30, GoPro CEO Nicholas Woodman was asked if the company would stray from the iconic design of its action cameras. “We’re always looking at new ideas, new form factors, new innovation that can lead to a more effective and convenient experience for our customers,” Woodman said. “To be sure, you never know what you’re going to see from GoPro next. So I will leave it at that.” Two days later, comedy show “Saturday Night Live” suggested a new application for GoPro (GPRO) cameras. In a parody video, three aging extreme sports dudes introduced the “GoProbe” for colonoscopies. “It grinds the rails of your intestines with ease!” one skateboarder says.
