Alphabet (GOOGL)-owned Google will offer online search services via a facility it has set up in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone after its return to the Chinese mainland, according to a Chinese media report. Google abruptly shuttered most of its mainland China operations in 2010 following a disagreement with the Chinese government over the censorship of Internet search results.
