Google, the main subsidiary of Alphabet (GOOGL), has reached a tax settlement with the U.K., the Financial Times first reported last Friday. Google will pay 130 million British pounds ($185 million) in back taxes and higher taxes in the future, said the FT, which quoted a Google executive and an official with HMRC, Britain’s revenue service.
