As the holiday shopping season nears an end, Google ‘s (GOOG) Product Listing Ads are getting good marks from analysts, who say ad firms are willing to spend more on those ads. Google in 2012 switched Product Listing Ads, or PLAs, into paid advertising from free listings. Retailers are the main PLA buyers. The ads feature photos of products for sale and are displayed next to organic search results for those products. The ads are Google’s first Scalper1 News
