Internet search leader Google (GOOGL) has ended free shipping for its same-day delivery service but expanded the service to three more cities. The moves ratchet up its competition with e-tail leader Amazon.com (AMZN) in deliveries just ahead of the holiday shopping season. Google announced Tuesday that it had expanded its renamed Google Express service (it had been Google Shopping Express) to Boston, Chicago and Washington, D.C. Google also added Scalper1 News
