Google Alphabet Signals Health As It Starts To Hire

New Google (GOOGL) corporate parent Alphabet has snapped up the director of the U.S. National Institute of Mental Health, Thomas Insel, to lead a mental health effort at Alphabet’s Life Sciences group. Life Sciences, a Google-founded company that works on genetics, cancer, diabetes and other illnesses, falls under the control of its Alphabet parent.
