General Motors (GM) looks to upstage Silicon Valley tech companies developing self-driving cars by making ADAS standard gear and upselling consumers subscription-based services, says Citigroup. Nissan (NSANY) and Toyota (TM) recently announced moves to make ADAS — advanced driver assistance systems — standard in select markets and broadly offering it as a low-cost option on other models.
