Personal computer shipments are expected to continue to fall on a worldwide basis until 2018, when they will be flat with 2017, according to a new forecast from market research firm IDC. Global PC shipments are projected to decline 2.7% this year and 3.3% in 2015. Last year, PC shipments fell 9.8% to 315 million units.
