The NBA preseason tips off this weekend and with it the hopes of former Microsoft (MSFT) CEO Steve Ballmer to win a championship with his Los Angeles Clippers. Ballmer bought the pro basketball team for $2 billion in August after the league forced previous owner Donald Sterling to sell it for making racist comments.
