Facebook (FB) remained the most popular downloaded app on smartphones in July, with nearly two-thirds of the app audience downloading it. The company now also holds the No. 2 spot with its Facebook Messenger. The Facebook messaging app moved up a spot, with a 59.5% share, to edge out former No. 2 YouTube, according to research firm comScore.
