Facebook (FB) received positive grades from analysts despite its mixed Q1 earnings late Wednesday, with one analyst lauding its “monetization opportunity.” Though spending heavily to create products, Facebook managed to beat first-quarter earnings estimates, but it fell short on revenue. Revenue of $3.54 billion was just shy of the $3.56 billion analyst consensus. The 42% gain, though robust, was the fourth straight quarter of decelerating growth. Scalper1 News
