Dutch Lead In Home Wi-Fi Adoption; U.S. Lags

The Netherlands leads the world in windmills, tulips, wooden shoes — and household Wi-Fi penetration. According to a study by Strategy Analytics, 80.4% of Dutch households have Wi-Fi wireless Internet connectivity. South Korea is second with 76.4% of households having Wi-Fi, followed by Norway (76.2%) and the U.K. (72.1%). The U.S. ranks No. 11 at 57.8%.
