A bid by Cypress Semiconductor (CY) to acquire fabless semiconductor company Integrated Silicon Solution received a nod Thursday from an analyst who says the move fits well with its focus on industrial and automotive markets. Cypress Semiconductor CEO T.J. Rodgers said in a letter to the board of directors of Milpitas, Calif.-based Integrated Silicon Solution (ISSI) that it’s interested in acquiring the company for $19.75 per share in cash, Scalper1 News
