Comedian Conan O’Brien has risen to the top of YouTube, but his attempt to conquer LinkedIn  (LNKD) was a crushing failure. O’Brien, host of the TBS talk show “Conan,” announced Dec. 11 that his channel on Google’s (GOOGL) YouTube surpassed 1 billion views. He commemorated the historic milestone with a funny video showing how he accomplished the feat. But not all of O’Brien’s endeavors in social media have succeeded. In September 2013, Conan set a goal of becoming the No. 1 Influencer on the professional social network LinkedIn. He flogged his attempts to grow his LinkedIn follower count over six video segments, with the last one airing on Jan. 22. Scalper1 News
