Cisco Tops HP In Blade Servers In Americas

Move over Hewlett-Packard, Cisco Systems (CSCO) is No. 1. Computer networking leader Cisco supplanted HP as the top maker of x86 blade servers in the Americas, according to a report released Wednesday by market tracker IDC. And Cisco’s overall server growth of 39% for the 12 months ended March 31 led all rivals, says the market research firm.
