Cisco Systems Names New CEO To Replace Chambers

Cisco Systems (CSCO) is digging in for its next leg of growth, and has named a new executive to lead the way. The longtime No. 1 maker of computer networking equipment early Monday said Chuck Robbins, a senior vice president who joined Cisco in 1997, will succeed John Chambers as the company’s chief executive officer starting July 26. Chambers, who has served as CEO since 1995, will become Cisco executive chairman. Cisco stock was up 0.4% in Scalper1 News
