Chipmaker Nvidia Rolls Out Videogame Console

Nvidia (NVDA) will use its chips in a set-top box called “Shield” that it’s making to plug into televisions and deliver video games, movies and other digital entertainment. The console will run on Google’s (GOOGL) Android software. Chipmaker Nvidia said in a press release Tuesday that it’s launching its “first living room entertainment device,” a console that can “bring 4K entertainment to every home.” The device uses Nvidia’s new Tegra X1 Scalper1 News
