Trina Solar Posts First Profitable Quarter In 2 Years

Trina Solar (TSL) has found its way back to the black. The China-based maker of solar panels swung to its first quarterly profit in two years when it reported its Q3 results early Tuesday. The company followed rival JinkoSolar Holding (JKS), which on Monday also reported Q3 results in which it swung to a profit. Trina said its solar panel shipments are up 11% this year. MercadoLibre Price Target Raised As Brazil Sales Rise

MercadoLibre (MELI) continues to see fast growth in its key market of Brazil, says JPMorgan analyst Andre Baggio, prompting him to raise his price target on MercadoLibre stock to 112 from 109. Salesforce.com Growth Strategy Questioned After Q3

Salesforce.com (CRM) stock fell Tuesday after the company posted mixed Q3 results late Monday and gave mixed guidance for the current quarter. Q3 revenue jumped 36% and beat analyst estimates, but EPS ex items was just in line and EPS guidance came up slightly short as expenses continue to rise faster than sales, as IBD reported. Salesforce.com stock was down as much as 5.3% in early trading in the stock market today, but the stock was down less
