Alphabet (GOOGL)-owned Google on Wednesday launched its much-anticipated YouTube Music app in the U.S., for both the Apple (AAPL) iOS and Google Android operating systems. The streaming music service and app aims to use the YouTube site’s massive music video collection to go up against Internet streaming music offerings including Apple Music — which Apple launched in June — and Spotify.
