Shares of BlackBerry (BBRY) perked up on news that the smartphone maker had partnered with Google (GOOGL) to enable its BES12 software to run Android for Work, giving users access to Google’s productivity suite. The new Android for Work, which the search giant introduced Wednesday, splits up apps into work and play. Personal data are secured separately from the device’s business profile, limiting a company’s IT access to the user’s work files. Scalper1 News
