Chinese search leader Baidu says that its iQiyi subsidiary — already one of China’s largest online video streaming services — is looking to become a bigger force in the country’s video-streaming and moviemaking fields. IQiyi launched a film production division, iQiyi Pictures, in 2014 as it pushed into the business of making movies for China and Hollywood. IQiyi Pictures is working with other companies to produce local movies and Hollywood films, Scalper1 News
