Baidu (BIDU)reported weaker-than-expected earnings per U.S. share and gave weak revenue guidance. Shares fell sharply late Wednesday China’s dominant search engine earned $1.45 per U.S. share including share compensation, up 11.5% vs. a year earlier. That appeared to miss Thomson Reuters estimates for $1.59. Revenue of $2.264 bil just exceeded analyst forecasts. Revenue rose 44% in dollar terms.
