AT&T (T) CEO Randall Stephenson on Monday said new federal net neutrality rules will be short-lived, though some analysts say they may last long enough to be a factor in approval of the DirecTV Group acquisition. Referring to the next presidential election, Stephenson said: “Administrations change and we’re 18 months away from a different FCC and you’re a three-two vote away from these rules being modified and improved.” AT&T and telecom trade Scalper1 News
