AT&T (T) could be open to selling DirecTV’s Latin American assets rather than expanding further in the region, based on its comments Wednesday at its analysts day event in Dallas. AT&T closed its acquisition of satellite broadcaster DirecTV in late July. DirecTV has 20.4 million U.S. subscribers and 12.7 million subscribers in Latin America, not including 6.8 million Sky Mexico subscribers. DirecTV owns a 41% stake in Sky Mexico.
