Apple (AAPL), HTC, Samsung, Sony and other high-end vendors of smartphones are expected to be pressured by a huge slowdown in Asia’s smartphone growth in 2015, especially in China, says a report by tracker ABI Research. ABI says in its analysis that the relentless smartphone growth that’s characterized Asia-Pacific region over the last several years fell from from 43% in 2013 to 17% in 2014, and will drop further to just 10% in 2015.
