Apple’s mythical television set is the Bigfoot of consumer electronics devices. Some people are convinced that it exists in the wilds of Apple’s product development centers. And they insist that when it finally shows itself, it’s going to be huge. Still others think that’s a load of hooey and it’s not going to happen. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said Tuesday that he believes Apple has delayed the launch of its iTV until late 2015 or early 2016 at the earliest. In the meantime, Apple (AAPL) is likely to come out with a new version of its Apple TV set-top box running on Apple’s new A7 processor sometime next year, he says.
