Apple’s (AAPL) much-anticipated smartwatch, the Apple Watch, will go on sale April 24, with preorders starting April 10. The new wearable device will come in models ranging in price from $349 for the sport version to more than $10,000 for the gold luxury version. Apple   (AAPL) ecutives gushed about the Apple Watch and other new products at a 95-minute promotional event Monday in San Francisco. “Apple Watch is the most personal device we have ever created,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said. “It’s not just with you, it’s on you.” The Apple Watch is the first new product category developed by the company since the death of co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs in October 2011. It is seen as a major test of whether Apple can continue to innovate and come out with compelling products without the visionary leader. Scalper1 News
