Apple Watch buyers won’t be lacking for apps to clutter up the screens on their wearable device. In a memo to employees late Monday, Apple (AAPL) CEO Tim Cook said that more than 1,000 Watch apps were submitted in just four days last week when the App Store started accepting them, according to 9to5Mac. “The rate of submissions has only been climbing since then,” Cook said. “Some of the most innovative developers in the world are working on new experiences designed specifically for Apple Watch.” Apple designed a new user interface for the Apple Watch to help users navigate through the myriad apps on their small-screen device. The watch features a tiny knob called the Digital Crown that lets users scroll, zoom and navigate through their many apps.
