Internet music streaming company Pandora Media (P)announced Tuesday that it had signed a multi-year licensing deal with the largest independent music publisher, SONGS Music Publishing. An analyst says the deal permits Pandora to license the SONGS catalog of musical works for possible listening outside of the U.S., where the company wants to grow.
