The parts to make a midrange Apple (AAPL) iPhone 6S smartphone cost $245, according to a teardown analysis by Teardown.com, a unit of TechInsights. By comparison, the bill of materials for last year’s model, the iPhone 6, cost $228.50, the company said in a blog post Monday.
