Apple (AAPL) chip suppliers tumbled Monday on Wall Street after a German iPhone 6S chip supplier guided Q4 revenue growth down to single digits, a day before Apple is expected to report colossal earnings. Dialog Semiconductor’s 20% dip in shares could also hurt its $4.6 billion attempt to acquire Silicon Valley chip gear maker Atmel (ATML). In September, Dialog valued Atmel at $10.42 per share.
