Amazon.com (AMZN) says that some of its customers had a little extra to spend on Christmas gifts this year, thanks to money they saved on free shipping. Consumers enrolled in the company’s Amazon Prime service saved $2 billion in free shipping this holiday shopping season, the company says. Amazon says that it shipped 100 million more items for free during this holiday than last year’s holiday. Amazon stock was up more than 1% in morning trading Scalper1 News
