Allscripts Stock Jumps After Prelim Q2 Beats Street

Medical software maker Allscripts Healthcare Solutions (MDRX) surged to an 11-month high Friday after its preliminary Q2 earnings beat estimates late Thursday. Allscripts said sales were $350 million to $353 million in the quarter, roughly flat with the year-earlier quarter but above analysts’ consensus of $348 million, according to Thomson Reuters. Earnings of 12 cents per share were up 33% from last year’s Q2, and 2 cents above consensus. The Scalper1 News
