Alibaba Group’s (BABA) affiliated payments business Alipay racked up a grand total of 42.3 billion transactions from its users, who now total more than 300 million, in the 10 years since it was founded in 2004. The figure was included in a report issued by Alipay on Monday, said a story in China’s state-run Xinhua news agency that was picked up by the government’s English-language newspaper China Daily.
