Adobe Systems saw its cloud strategy begin to pay off last quarter. The maker of creative and marketing software late Tuesday reported better-than-expected results for its fiscal Q2 ended May 30. San Jose, Calif.-based Adobe Systems (ADBE) earned 37 cents a share, up 3% from the year-earlier quarter. Wall Street had forecast EPS of 30 cents. Adobe sales rose 6% to $1.068 billion.
