The recent construction of an entire house by the Chinese 3D-printing company ZhuoDa Group is the latest sign that so-called additive manufacturing is going beyond small widgets and into such large-scale projects. Last year, China’s Shanghai WinSun Decoration Design Engineering mass-produced 10 houses in less than 24 hours with a massive 3D printer that it developed. The printer is capable of making a 657-square-foot house for under $5,000 using Scalper1 News
