3D Printer Market Grew At Double-Digit Rates In 2014

The leading 3-D printer companies have struggled of late, but the market overall showed healthy growth in 2014. Global 3-D printer revenue rose 34% last year to $3.3 billion and shipments rose 68% to 133,000 units, according to estimates from research firm Canalys. In Q4, total revenue surpassed $1 billion for the first time in a single quarter, and some 41,000 3-D printers were shipped worldwide, according to the Canalys report. The Americas Scalper1 News
